I have served as a Clinical Director, supervisors and mentor since 2013. In these roles I have provided education and supervision to staff. I have also served as an adjunct professor at Webster University in the Mental Health Counseling Program
My current research interests include detailed information on the psychopathology of black women, their communication styles, their methods of self-care and (pedagogical) methods of self-exposure.
I always ensure that my lessons involve multiple learning modalities so that students learn through their preferred learning style.
Central to my pedagogy is a focus on the needs of students. I embrace Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs as a key pedagogical tool to ensure all clients reach their personal best
My encounters are opportunities for self-exploration and development. I have benefited the most from experiential educational exposure when real-life emotions of the subject of learning experiences.

I completed my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2013 at Webster University in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I complete d my bachelor’s degree at North Carolina Central University in 2006.

Master Addictions Counselor and Substance Abuse Professional from National Association of Addiction Counselors
