Learning the classical violin is a deeply rewarding experience that combines technical mastery with artistic expression. Technique

In private lessons, we focus on building strong foundational skills while keeping lessons engaging and tailored to your needs. Lessons include:

Proper technique – posture, bowing, finger placement, and tone production.
Sight-reading & music theory – understanding the music so you can play independently.
Repertoire – classical pieces ranging from beginner to advanced, chosen to match your level and interests.
Performance skills – preparing for recitals, competitions, or performances to build confidence on stage.

30-minute Lesson

Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): Tuning, bow hold check, open string exercises, scales & arpeggios.
Review Material + New Repertoire (20 minutes): Technique work and musical phrasing on current pieces. Focus on musicality, intonation, rhythm, and dynamics.
Assignment (5 minutes): Assign weekly practice goals, and offer a parent recap if needed.

60-minute Lesson

Warm-up (15 minutes): Tuning, bow exercises, scales & arpeggios.
Review Material + New Repertoire (30 - 40 minutes): Technique work and musical phrasing on current pieces. Focus on musicality, intonation, rhythm, and dynamics.
Assignment (5 minutes): Recap of key points, tailored weekly practice goals, and provide progress updates.
