About me

Update! I am excited to share that starting September 1st, 2022, I am joining HEC Paris as an Associate Professor of Finance.

I study empirical corporate finance, with a special interest in labor and finance, entrepreneurship, law, and sustainability.

I am a founding member of the Impact Finance Research Consortium. I also co-organize the Labor & Finance Online Seminar (LFOS) with Tania Babina (Columbia), David Matsa (Kellogg), and Elena Simintzi (UNC).

I earned my PhD in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where I received the AQR Top Finance Graduate Award and the Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship for entrepreneurship studies. Prior to academia, I worked in management consulting for the financial industry. I hold a BA in economics & mathematics from Yale University.
