An author, storyteller, illustrator, and dungeon master!
I have always been a creative person, and have had a sense for storytelling ever since I was young, reading Harry Potter books and dreaming of different worlds while in math class.
I grew up as a military kid, so home for me was more of a people rather than a place. I was the second oldest of five children, and my parents made seven of us traveling across the United States every two to five years. It made for an interesting adventure. I have officially 4 different high schools and I can't count how many elementary schools!
I brought with me my creativity, and storytelling and illustrating became my stability in a life where friends, locations, and schools changed so often. That and my family and church of course.
Well into my college days I continued to create and build worlds of far off places where dragons ruled or monsters lurked around corners. It wasn't at all surprising when I fell into loving dungeons and dragons. I have since become a forever DM (dungeon master), and have had a campaign with my college friends that has been going on for six years now!
Since graduating from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelors of Arts in English, I have been working on writing and illustrating my own books, starting with a children's book series based on an aspect of my college DnD game. Gentle and the Picnic Pals is my first ever children's book, and I couldn't be more proud of how it turned out.
While I love my children's book, I plan on writing chapter books for a YA audience as well. I vlog my progress on all my projects on my YouTube page, and have a monthly newsletter if you want to see all the many projects I've been working on.

Gentle and her friends from the orphanage are going on a picnic!
However there are frogs, snakes, and spiders all around outside. Gentle’s friends are scared of these creepy crawly critters, but Gentle knows that if you treat nature with kindness and respect, there is no need to fear it. Her friends are not so easily convinced.
When she and her friends come across a bat injured in the wilderness next to their picnic, will Gentle be able to convince her friends to go get help for the poor creature?
