Jessica Udemezue
Jessica Udemezue is an artist currently studying BA in Visual Arts at Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. She focuses on daily experiences and examines how ordinary objects carry meanings. Through printmaking, illustration and installations, she gathers materials from everyday environments and gently repositions them, allowing familiar forms to shift, echo, and speak in unexpected ways. Her work moves between observation and speculation, tracing how identity and lived experience are shaped by inherited systems, cultural memory, and subtle social structures. Within these assembled spaces, objects become more than what they appear to be. They may hold fragments of stories, gestures of belonging, and traces of unseen histories.By transforming the everyday, she invites viewers to pause and notice the quiet forces that shape how we remember, relate, and move through the world.
