Through my work, it is intended that one feels the need to re-evaluate one’s influence on others and one's position in the world. I am most interested in and inspired by human sentiment, thought, life experience, nature in its various definitions of meaning, as well as the more obscure workings of the universe such as "fate" and mortality. The idea of the shared experience is also a key component of my work. Consequently, I am especially motivated by the reaction of the viewer. My art is a finely tuned balance of emotion and sensation – whether tactile, visual, or otherwise – each of which I find quite valuable in reaching diverse levels of awareness and comprehension.
In my work, I tend to use mentally and expressively perceptive or emotionally-charged concepts. Utilizing a mix of stark intuition and bold, unorthodox methods and materials, I aim to further promote involvement, understanding, and stimulation.
