I believe in the practical and transformative role of the arts to build community, foster connection, and spark real-world change. As an educator and program leader with over a decade of experience, I’ve worked across schools, cultural institutions, and local government to design initiatives that engage, inspire, and deliver lasting impact. This has included leading international drama immersion trips, producing award-winning performances, shaping arts policy, and building multidisciplinary teams. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong track record of creative leadership and collaborative thinking, with a consistent focus on seeing complex projects through from vision to delivery. At the heart of my work is a belief that arts and education are tools not just for expression, but for shaping compassionate, connected citizens.
I’m energized by challenge and innovation, and passionate about empowering students through agency, creativity, and emerging technologies. I aim to cultivate adaptable, curious learners who think critically, lead with empathy, and feel equipped to shape — not just respond to — the future. For me, great teaching is both visionary and grounded: it honours student voice, embraces risk-taking, and empowers students to apply creative thinking beyond the classroom — in their communities, careers, and lives.
