This website presents evidence of my growth as an educator and teacher leader due to my participation in ASTL Advanced International Baccalaureate (IB) Research program at George Mason University. The work presented here demonstrates my commitment to exemplify all ten attributes of the IB Learner Profile, model life-long learning to my students, and make data-informed decisions to reduce barriers to learning.
My time at George Mason has made an incredible impact on my approach to teaching and learning and has helped me to reflect at a critical and dialectical level. These past two years have shaped my approach to differentiation, styles of collaboration with colleagues, inspired new approaches to inquiry-based learning, and most importantly have helped me to get to know my students and school context more deeply. The photos below are representative of my commitment to exemplify the IB Learner Profile attributes and various aspects of the ASTL Learning Outcomes.
