My practice centers around abstract painting and mixed media, often exploring themes of stillness, rhythm, isolation, and color as a language of emotion.
I was drawn to visual storytelling long before I ever picked up a brush. For me, art began as a quiet attempt to map out internal chaos, first through sketching, later through full-bodied painting. I work primarily with acrylic, ink, graphite, and digital overlays, letting each medium speak where words don’t quite reach.
Most of my recent work is informed by the textures of Australian coastal life: the way water erodes, how light lands differently in morning versus dusk, how cities and landscapes overlap and blend into each other. Some pieces are bold and layered; others are quiet, tonal, and intentionally unfinished.
While I don’t follow a specific artistic school, my influences include contemporary abstract expressionism, organic form studies, and emotional minimalism. More than anything, I aim to create a visual pause—moments where the viewer can recognize something unspoken within themselves.
