I’ve been passionate about all things marching since my first performance with my tiny high school band at the 2004 New Philadelphia Band Preview. Throughout high school and college, I would create arrangements of whatever songs caught my attention. While studying at the University of Akron, I performed with Ohio’s Pride and Blue and Gold Brass, and even had the opportunity to help edit a halftime show during the Rubber Bowl’s farewell season under the guidance of director Jody Besse. After honing my craft independently, I officially began publishing my work in 2020.
I specialize in writing for smaller bands, knowing firsthand the challenges they face in finding music that works for their unique instrumentation and skill levels. My goal is to bring the energy and excitement of traditional, show-style marching to accessible, well-crafted arrangements that are both easy to learn and fun to play. From field shows and stands tunes to parade tunes, cadences, and pregame music, I strive to give directors practical, affordable charts that showcase their bands’ strengths.
For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of supplying specialty music for the Paint Valley Marching Bearcats, a small but mighty show-style band in rural Ohio. While my focus is on arranging, I’m always open to working with directors to help shape their shows and make their vision a reality.
My family and I live in historic Massillon, Ohio, and I'm a proud twirl dad.
