My name is Michelle Martin and I am so excited about partnering with you!
Early childhood is a vital time in the development of young children. I love the amazing transformation and natural curiosity that erupts in children between prenatal development and kindergarten. Children are tremendous sources of wonder and joy, but also worry and frustration. As your Early Childhood Coordinator (ECC), it is my privilege to advocate for you, the parents and families with young children, and serve you through some of the trickiest years of parenting. My primary role is to promote the best possible developmental outcomes for your young children by offering information, guidance, and emotional and practical support directly to you in the comforts and convenience of your own home.
Throughout the program, we will explore language and literacy foundations, social emotional as well as physical development milestones, and fall in love with learning through playful interactions as a family. It is my ultimate goal to provide support and resources for you to excel as your child's first and most important teacher. Together, we can ensure the future educational success of our community's most valuable resource, your children.
My Credentials
I graduated as a highest honor graduate and valedictorian at Jasper High School in 2008. I have an Associates of Arts, Associate of General Studies in Liberal Arts, and Associate of Science in Education from North Arkansas College. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s from University of Arkansas in Little Rock with plans to obtain a Masters of Education in School Counseling. I am passionate about mental health and wellness, community outreach and advocating for healthy families.
My Interests and Hobbies
My personal hobbies include photography, interior design, and singing off-key in the shower. I am an avid reader and love historical fiction. My love for literature also extends into writing fiction, inspirational nonfiction, and poetry.
My Family
I grew up in Jasper and have many fond memories within the community. I married my high school sweetheart Phillip and we have five lively and charismatic children. Their names are Madelyn, Henry, Delaney, Macy, and Adylee. My family and I enjoy everything about the outdoors. We spend lots of time gardening, hiking, camping, and trail riding on our side-by-side. We also spend time baking, having dance parties, playing card games, and snuggling up watching Disney movies or reading stories like A Series of Unfortunate Events or The Chronicles of Narnia together.
