Current Research Assistants
Martha-Bryan is currently a senior at Converse University, where she is majoring in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Studio Arts. While she is still considering her path after graduation, Martha-Bryan is committed to pursuing challenging roles that allow her to make meaningful contributions.
When not working on new projects, Martha-Bryan enjoys writing, making music, and spending time with her dog and cat, Cooper and Clementine.
Karson is a sophomore at Converse University, double-majoring in Psychology and Biology. After graduating, she plans to pursue an MD-PhD in Neuroscience. She spent the past summer working with Dr. Griffin in the Biology department studying the effect of APOE on learning and memory as an Alzheimer's Disease risk factor. When she is not in the classroom or science lab, she enjoys fellowshipping and volunteering with the St. Andrews Road Church of Christ.
Haley is currently a senior at Converse University, majoring in Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school for clinical mental health counseling after graduation. Some of her hobbies include painting, jewelry making, and various other arts and crafts.
Lab Alumni
Tessa recently graduated from Converse University with a degree in Psychology and a focus in Pre-Physical Therapy. She plans to attend Physical Therapy school in Fall 2026. In the meantime, Tessa will be working at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System as a Patient Access Representative. In her free time, she enjoys all things exercise—especially when friends are involved—and loves to unwind through anything music related.
