Welcome! My name is Jeremias Huber and I am an Economist at the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group). I received my PhD in Finance from Columbia Business School in 2025.

I am a financial economist and my research studies macroeconomic, intertemporal and venture-capital risk in asset markets. 

In final PhD year,  I was a Summer Dissertation Fellow at the Federal Reserve Board in DC, after which I worked part-time as a macro researcher for a hedge fund in NYC.

Before the PhD, I was a Research Professional in Finance at UChicago Booth. Prior to that, I completed an MSc in Finance and Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BSc in Economics at Humboldt University, Berlin. I further completed courses in Mathematics (BSc) at Free University of Berlin and spent one year studying economics at UC Berkeley.
