I am drilling 3 holes into the skull plate.
I am sewing the Y incision in between the antlers.
Here I am beginning to sew down the back of the deer.
I added bondo to the ears and formed them fake plastic ones.
This is using Fast Dry Mache to finish setting the antlers.
This was the hardest step. Fleshing as much meat off the face.
This is continuing the fleshing process but down the rest of the hide.
This putting nails through the hide and into the form where the muscles are. This makes the muscles pop.
Here I am tucking the lips into the lip groove on the form.
Applying the glue to the form so the hide will stick.
Here I am scuffing the form to be able to apply the glue.
I am sewing up the holes in the hide.
I am applying the critter clay around the eyes to make them look like they would if the deer was still alive.
I am putting the antlers on with the drill and three screws.
I am stapling some of the excess hide to the back then will cut a lot of it off.
