Jeong Yeol Kim
Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Arizona.
My research interests are Experimental/Behavioral Economics and Industrial Organization. In particular, I have focused on collusion and antitrust policy, policy evaluation, and decision-making under uncertainty.
My job market paper, ``Strategic Delegation and Collusion: An experiment," examines firms' collusion under the assumption that firms engage in strategic delegation, compared to that under profit maximization. This research is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant (SES-2149219). Additionally, the paper has been selected as the Best Student Paper (Readers' Choice) for 2023 Antitrust Writing Awards.
I am currently on the job market and expect to graduate in May 2023.
