This is a version of the JEOL periodic table app for the Android. This app has been tested on a Motorola "motog4 PLUS "phone running Android version 7 software. It is compiled to support Android software version 6 (OS version 23 -- "Marshmallow") and later versions. It will not run correctly on earlier versions. The figures below show what to expect, although the program may have changed slightly after they were created. Note that information is only shown for stable isotopes and that only a single valence is currently shown for each element. The app should support several different screen dimensions, but it has not been tested on all screen sizes. It is configured to run in landscape mode only.

Installation instructions:

Because it is not an official Google Store app yet, you will have to edit your settings to allow this to be downloaded.

Under Settings->Security, check the item under “Unknown Sources” to “Allow installation of non-Market apps”

After you do this, you can click on the link below FROM YOUR PHONE to install the app.

Download the file, and then open it with the package installer and answer any questions necessary to allow it to be installed.

You should restore the original security settings after installing the app to protect your phone!
