I am an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. I graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Ph.D. in Economics. Before my doctorate studies in Economics, I earned a Master of Science in Applied and Resource Economics from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in Econophysics (Dipl. Phys.-Oec.) from the University of Ulm in Germany. I also gained experience in the private sector working for Accenture, Robert Bosch, and UniCredit.

My primary research interests are in environmental economics, industrial organization, and economics of education. I am also interested in answering questions in behavioral economics and resource economics. To answer research questions in these fields, I carefully design experiments to generate novel data sets and use applied econometrics methods for analysis.
