1 Directions to Merangasse 70 (Wall building)
1.1 From the airport
Take the bus no. 630 from the bus stop in front of the airport to the “Puntigam Bahnhof” and then take the tram no. 5/6 to ”Jakominiplatz” (see 1.3).
Another option is to go to the train station “Flughafen Graz-Feldkirchen”, which is approximately 300 m away from the airport. From there, take the suburban train (S-Bahn) in the direction of Graz to the main station, “Graz Hauptbahnhof” (see 1.2).
1.2 From the main station
Take the bus route 63 in the direction of „Schulzentrum St. Peter“. The bus stop „Nibelungengasse“ is located directly in front of the main entrance to our (Wall) building (see 2.1)
Another option to go to Merangasse 70 is via “Jakominiplatz”. Due to current construction work, no tram runs between the main station and this stop. Instead, you can take one of the replacement busses (bus lines E1 or E6) to “Jakominiplatz” (see 1.3).
1.3 From Jakominiplatz
Take the tram line 3 towards „Krenngasse“ (on weekdays, weekends and holidays until approximately 11 p.m.). Get off at the stop „Herz-Jesu-Kirche“, follow the tram tracks around the church and turn left at the next intersection into “Nibelungengasse”. Our (Wall) building is located on the left-hand side at the next street corner (towards “Merangasse”). In front of the street corner, a courtyard entrance with barriers provides direct access to the rear entrance (large glass double door) of the (Wall) building (see 2.2).
1.4 From the main building of the university
The bus route 63 in the direction of „Schulzentrum St. Peter“ runs from the stop “Universität“ in front of the main building of the university directly to the stop “Nibelungengasse” in front of our (Wall) building.
In our (Wall) building
The workshop will take place in rooms 33.3.088 and 33.3.086 of the Institute of Romance Studies, located on the 3rd floor at the rear of the Wall building. Depending on the mode of transportation, there are two possible entrances.
2.1 Main entrance
Getting off the bus at stop “Nibelungengasse”, the Wall building will be directly in front of you. There are two ways to get to the 3rd floor from the main entrance.
The first option is by the stairs on the right-hand side of the main entrance. Behind the large glass wall on the right, there is a large double staircase. Follow the stairs all the way to the top. At the end, there is a glass door on the left-hand side. The rooms 33.3.088 and 33.3.086 are located directly behind it.
If you want to take the elevator, you need to go to the rear end of the building. Across from the main entrance, you will see another large glass wall and the courtyard behind it. Go straight through the inner courtyard. Directly behind the glass doors you will find a large double staircase and two elevators. When you arrive on the 3rd floor, the workshop rooms are on the right-hand side, as you get off the elevator. Go through the glass door and at the corner, turn right. The rooms are located on the left side of the corridor.
2.2 Rear entrance
If you enter the building through the rear entrance, you will be right next to a large double staircase. Directly in front of you are two escalators. When you arrive on the 3rd floor, the workshop rooms are on the right-hand side, as you get off the elevator. Go through the glass door and at the corner, turn right. The rooms are located on the left side of the corridor.
