dúr. is a retrospective emotional analyis about the last 4 years of life experiences, compressed into roughly one and a half hours of audio. Its release date coincides with the original release date of my first-ever EP (Wandering Shadows), exactly 4 years ago on SoundCloud. For me, dúr. marks the clear end of an era and a beginning of a new, both in a musical and personal sense. During the 4 years, music has gained a bigger and bigger role and is now on its rightful path in my life, where I have always wanted it to belong to, ever since I formed my first vague preconceptions and dreams, vocalizing bass harmonies in the shower at the age of 12. Of the 13 tracks, some are reimaginations/reinterpretations of a couple of my more significant and determinative works. While not a linear story, the tracks follow a vague chronological order, not in terms of recording date, but according to what experience they aim to represent.
