Hello,

My name is Jenny Drösch. I am from Belgium, and I live in the German-speaking part of it, the most protected minority of Europe. I have been a teacher since 2016, specialized in applied business courses. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an HR-assistant in a private company during three years. My experience helps me a lot in teaching my students useful stuff they may need in their future.

I graduated in 2013 and did a bachelor’s degree from the “Haute Ecole de la Ville de Liège”. In 2019, I finally earned my didactics diploma. I participated in my first Erasmus-project in Spain in 2013, which totally changed many of my points of view and pushed me a lot. At the time, I was writing my bachelor thesis about the financial crisis and its impact on the mobility of students, in other words: Erasmus (“El impacto de la crisis financiera sobre la movilidad de los estudiantes”). Since then, I have been a huge fan of Erasmus and its intercultural impact on European culture.

Even if I do not teach language courses, I adore interacting in many different languages, learning about other cultures and getting to know new people. Living in a country with three official languages, I am aware of the importance of being fluent in many different languages.

As I am convinced of Erasmus and its positive impact, in 2019 I decided to take part in our project “May ICT be with you” with Triin, Lene, Camilla, Steffi and Ana and all our partners. I benefit a lot from their background and knowledge, and so do my students. You live and learn.
