The purpose of Manners in Motion is to equip students with the confidence, kindness, and grace they need to navigate social situations with ease. Through interactive activities, hands-on practice, and real-world etiquette skills, students will learn not only how to feel comfortable and capable when engaging with others, but also how to positively impact the people and environments around them. Our ultimate goal is for each student to leave the course ready to share kindness, show respect, and carry themselves with poise in any setting. (Also to have FUN!). Some skills and topics covered:

• First impressions, kindness, and confidence

• Active Listening, conversation, and respectful disagreement

• Introductions, hosting, and public manners

• Thank-you notes and expressing gratitude

• Table setting and dining etiquette

• Empathy and respect for differences

• Giving and receiving compliments

• Final celebration to demonstrate their skills in a real-world setting
