"No authority can terminate the pedagogic relation,
no knowledge can save us the task of thinking."

Since 2009, I have designed courses as an instructor of record at both public and private universities. Supported by certificates in college teaching, online course design, inclusive teaching, and teaching controversial topics, my pedagogy emphasizes each students' role in the co-production and sharing of knowledge. Teaching for eight years at a small liberal arts college in New York's Hudson River Valley instilled in me the importance of honoring the social and cultural difference that impact each student's learning experience. At Vanderbilt University, I have continued to develop curriculum that centers inclusivity and accessibility while foregrounding critical issues related to the environment and climate change as well as critical media studies and gender and sexuality studies.
Below, I've listed selected courses that I have taught, syllabi I've created, and excerpts from student evaluations.
