ABOUT ME

MY STORY

I discovered my love for education and training as a sophomore in college through my work at the Virginia Aquarium presenting aquatic education programs and training volunteers. Since then I have worked in the defense industry, in museums, and in public school classrooms, all with the same focus in mind - helping individuals and organizations reach their goals through the creation and delivery of high-quality learning experiences.

In my spare time, I volunteer as a foster parent and event coordinator for Pugs U Gotta Save, a Virginia non-profit organization devoted to the rescue and care of surrendered and abandoned pugs. PUGS works to educate the public on the pug breed and the responsibilities of pug ownership. My first rescue pug Tiara was the inspiration for my work promoting responsible pet ownership, and my two pugs, Max and Bowser, are the light of my life.
