I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan.

I work primarily in social, political, and moral philosophy, with an emphasis on the intersection of ethical, political, and legal theories. Currently, my research focuses on various issues that arise in international relations and just war theory.

I earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I double-majored in English and Philosophy.
