Research Experience

Postdoctoral Fellow | HART Laboratory, University of Toronto Mississauga (2023 – PRESENT)

• Researcher and coordinator on the CIHR-funded project to develop and assess the effectiveness of an online Autonomic Modulation Training intervention to improve functional wellness capacity and resilience among public safety personnel. In collaboration with the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment. Mentor to undergraduate research assistants, independent research projects, and thesis students.

Graduate Research Assistant | HART Laboratory, University of Toronto Mississauga (2017 – 2023)

• Used psychophysiological measures to study stress and trauma in relation to first responders’ physical and mental health. Mentor to undergraduate research assistants, independent research projects, and thesis students.

Graduate Research Assistant | Dunkley Laboratory, Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids Hospital) (2018 – 2020)

• Completed outside project on resting-state neural connectivity networks in Canadian Armed Forces personnel with PTSD via magnetoencephalography (MEG) measures. Mentor for undergraduate thesis students.
