Jenna Lazenby resides in Fort Worth, Texas, where currently she works as News Producer for CBS' Now News.
Originating from Houston, Texas, Jenna has also worked for News on 6 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jenna found her passion for journalism, media production and communications through her time at News on 6 and CBS Now News. Some of her most notable produced stories include her packages on the podcast Gettin' Grown and the history of the Divine Nine.
In September of 2022, Jenna was brought on as a Producer for Now News; where she help produce and distribute news across ten markets nation-wide. Most of her work was focused in Atlanta, Georgia.
Previously, Jenna held the position of Executive Podcast Producer for The University of Tulsa's podcast studio, Studio 151. There, she drew the blueprint and produced TU Media Lab, TU's first student led podcast. Her best rated and longest running show being Ball Talk, which she co-hosted 2019-2020. She has also anchored, co-hosted, and wrote for TUTV, The University of Tulsa's television station, where she developed a hunger for journalism.
Jenna also participated in her university's Association of Black Collegians, where she held an executive position from 2015 - 2020. During her time with the organization she developed community inclusive and diverse programming.
Jenna aspires to continue working to keep the public informed through her work with communications. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, discovering new television series, music, and food, and writing poetry and short stories.
