This artwork, created as a pair to Dog, focuses on the animal body as flayed and grotesque objects, taking inspiration from medical and anatomical illustration. The soft, tactile mediums of textiles and embroidery is at odds with the entrails and muscle. I aim to invite a push and pull between intrigue with the construction of the objects and disgust with the subject matter.
