Her journey began with a simple needle and thread, and over the last 40 years, she has mastered everything from intricate traditional piecing to bold, modern fiber arts.   As a seasoned educator, Ivonne is known for her patience, her "no-mistake" philosophy, and her ability to help students find their unique creative voice. Whether you are threading a machine for the first time or looking to master complex longarm techniques, she brings a wealth of wisdom and a gentle touch to every stitch.

A Heart for Family When she isn’t in the studio, Ivonne’s life is anchored by her family. She is the proud mother of two children and the doting grandmother of three grandchildren, who serve as her greatest inspirations (and the lucky recipients of many "test" quilts!). For Ivonne, quilting isn't just about the finished product—it's about the stories we sew together and the warmth we leave behind for the next generation.
