Jeff Webb Cheerleading

Jeff Webb Cheerleading, a well-known investor, businessperson, and novelist from Shelby County, Tennessee, is the Director of the International Cheer Union and the editor-in-chief of Human Events. He is a well-known business figure who has appeared in several important magazines, including Entrepreneur, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal.

Webb established the International Cheer Union in 2004 and was elected President in 2007. The organization is known as the world's regulatory body for cheering and serves approximately 7.5 million athletes worldwide. The International Cheer Union is a proud member of the Association for International Sports for Everyone, registered as a nonprofit worldwide governing organization, and aspires to grow the sport of cheering under Webb's guidance.

Webb was also the CEO of Varsity Brands, a global innovator in cheering, dance teams, and performing arts. Varsity Brands is currently a subsidiary of the Varsity Brands parent corporation. Webb served as Varsity Brands' CEO until 2018 and will continue to serve as the company's chairman until 2020.

Webb is an avid naturalist, philanthropist, and writer in addition to his business interests. He is a big fan of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Special Olympics movement. He has also worked extensively with the Muscular Dystrophy Association's now-defunct Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.

Webb is the best-selling author of American Restoration: How to Unshackle the Great Middle Class, which details his efforts to make cheering an official Olympic sport. Webb earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of Oklahoma, where he was an active campus leader and cheer squad member.
