I am also an officer in one of our students' organization i the campus named “ALA-GAD ADVOCATES”. This organization provide me and other LGBTQIA+ community toexpress themselves freely and promote or exercise gender equality and development. We are human too. This platform helped me to further my causes and fight for the rights of every individual regardless of who they are as a person.
BUT BEYOND THAT IS A
I sell graham balls to school with my classmates. I am self-supporting student. I am also a part-time houseboy/maid. Those jobs enables me to financed my present college education.
The journey of becoming a working student made me an independent, responsible, and disciplined person. Although I often felt humiliated, bullied, and belittled because of my social status in life, I still got a chance to conquer it all at once. I faced hurtful comments, felt neglected and degraded, and even developed mental health problems due to destructive criticisms and hypocrisy of some individuals. Honestly speaking, I felt sorry for myself since I am inferior to them but that doesn't stop me for pursuing my dreams. I worked hard and persevered. Now, I am able to study in college of course with the help of myself, family, and those genuine people who show kindness to me even though I am not their family. The values instilled in me wil be useful in my future endeavours.
Yes, It's rare to find kind person who understands your inner and silent battles, but trust me those individuals are top tier. They don't just listen but they also shows love and compassion towards you. So, always be grateful, humble, and praise God for the life you have along with the people you will meet everyday.
AND HIS LIFE CONTINUES.
