A personal note about this project (left)... In my thirty-four years as an event professional, I have worked with celebrities, dignitaries, sports figures and other noteworthy people. I have produced events in luxurious, exotic, and truly epic venues around the world. I have worked on projects with massive budgets and millions of viewers or attendees. And as a passionate producer, I always pour my heart and soul into every project I work on. However, the event pictured to the left was one of my proudest achievements that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My middle son's high school graduation. An event that was not supposed to happen due to COVID-19 cancellations. But as a parent with the skills of an event producer, I didn't want the Class of 2020 to miss out on a meaningful and memorable graduation (lord knows they had already endured the cancellations of their senior class trip, prom, Grad Night and other beloved events)! In five weeks time, I pitched my idea to the Head of School, developed and worked through the logistics, and brought the event to fruition- safely and without the students and their families feeling like it was "just a concession". It was the greatest graduation ever (yes, I'm most certainly biased). The graduates and their families, the school faculty and staff, and especially, my family and I, will never forget that day. Congratulations Class of 2020!
