Go Jaguars!

Located in Broomfield, Colorado, Jefferson Academy (JA) Elementary is a Jefferson County public charter school founded in 1994. JA Elementary educates over 750 students in grades K-6 from the surrounding areas of Westminster, Broomfield, Arvada and Golden.

Growth in character. Academic achievement. A love of learning. Those are the tenets of JA. As a PTO, we are here to support our community of parents, teachers, students and educational leaders. Together, we work to create a unique and supportive learning environment. Our goal? Responsible, productive citizens.

It's totally our jam! And together we really are better. So go ahead. Bookmark us and visit again soon!

We Collect your Hard-to-Recycle Items for Cash

Did you know that bins at both entrances to JA collect hard-to-recycle items you can't recycle at home. Better yet? We earn cash for JA! Items collected include all squeeze pouches, various snack wrappers, plus markers, crayons, pens, mechanical pencils, glue sticks, and watercolor trays. We also collect a number of bathroom products, including toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, razers, floss, deodorant, lip balm, medicinal packaging (including blister packs and vitamin containers), cosmetics, tubes, pumps and spray tops and SO MUCH MORE!
