The Jeffco District Accountability Committee (DAC) is a state-required advisory committee that brings together parents, caregivers, students, staff, and community members to provide meaningful input on issues that impact Jeffco Public Schools.

DAC serves as a bridge between the community, district leadership, and the Board of Education by elevating community voices, encouraging thoughtful discussion, and offering informed recommendations that support student success.

While DAC does not make policy or operational decisions, our recommendations help inform decisions that affect schools across the district.

Our Purpose

Colorado law requires every school district to have a District Accountability Committee.

Jeffco DAC exists to:

Represent the voices of families, students, staff, and community members.
Advise the Board of Education and district leadership on key issues affecting the district.
Encourage meaningful community engagement.
Review district plans, priorities, and performance.
Support transparency and accountability throughout Jeffco Public Schools.

How can I share feedback with DAC?
Community members can attend meetings, contact DAC representatives, or submit feedback using the online form available on this website. SACs are also provided a SAC survey from the DAC annually to provide their priorities and feedback.
