Together we make the music happen!
Hi I am Andrea Memmer. I am most honored to serve as Booster President for my 2nd and final year.
My son, Blaise, is a Senior this year as a member of FEX Tech and performing in First Edition.
As a Jeff choir alum, I am excited to be a small part of helping the program continue to grow.
I work at Purdue for Life Foundation by day, but most evenings and weekends you'll find me wherever the Jeff Choirs need me :)
My daughter, Alexah, is currently in First Edition and Varsity. She has previously been in ACap and Expressions.
I am a 3rd grade teacher at Oakland Elementary, and I have worked for LSC for 20 years.
My husband, Doug, is a firefighter for the City of Lafayette.
We also have an 11 year old son, Henry, who is often at choir events as a helper!
As an alumni of Jeff Choirs, and former director, Charis Vander Plaats is eager to serve
as the Booster Secretary. Charis has three children (Michael, class of 2024, Gabriel,
current FE and Varsity member, and Raphaela, 8th grader), and loves being a show
choir mom!! Charis works fulltime as an elementary music teacher for the TSC serving
both Wea Ridge and James Cole Elementary Schools. She is also the Director of Music
and Worship at First Church in West Lafayette. She and her partner Dustin love
supporting the Jeff Choirs and look forward to a wonderful year ahead!
I'm excited to be serving my second year on the Choir Booster Board! As a proud third-generation Jefferson High School graduate (Class of 2005), Jeff has always been home. I grew up walking these halls while my mom dedicated nearly 20 years to the school, so you could definitely say my kids were born to be Bronchos!
During my time at Jeff, I was more involved in sports and the arts, but I always loved cheering on our incredible choir students. These days, you'll find me wearing many hats—sports mom, band mom, tech mom, and choir mom! My daughter, Jaycee, is a senior and a member of Expressions, First Edition, and Tech, while my son, Madden, is a freshman involved in soccer, Tech, and band(percussion).
I know how special these high school moments are—not just for the students, but for their families too. That's why you'll almost always find me with a camera in hand, capturing the memories at performances, competitions, and all the moments in between. I love helping preserve the memories that make Jeff Choir such an incredible family.
¡Buenos días! My name is Maribel Salazar Masoodi, and I'm honored to serve as the new Co–Vice President of the Jefferson Choir Booster Board. My daughter, Sofía, is a proud member of First Edition, Varsity, and Expressions, and our family is grateful to be part of such an amazing choir program.
I'm a proud Mexican American, a Lafayette School Corporation graduate, and a first-grade High Ability teacher at Edgelea Elementary. My love for music began at Jefferson High School, where I sang in Descants and Expressions and later served on the First Edition Tech Crew. Being able to give back to the choir program that meant so much to me is truly a full-circle moment.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy mentoring future educators through Purdue University, volunteering with the Latino Center for Wellness and Education, and supporting Jefferson athletics. I look forward to working alongside our incredible choir families, directors, and volunteers to help make this another fantastic year for our students!
Hello! My name is Marti Meyers. I am a 1992 graduate of Jeff and a Jeff Choir Alumni.
I am a kindergarten teacher at Vinton Elementary and proud to be part of the LSC staff.
I am married to Tim Meyers; he is also a 1992 Jeff graduate. Our son Maysen graduated from Jeff in 2023 and he was a 3-year member of First Edition and he also played multiple sports. Our son Talan graduated from Jeff in 2025 and he was in Band (Percussion), and he also played multiple sports. Breken is our incoming Freshman; he is in Acapella and CSN. Lastly, our youngest Easton will be in 7th grade at Tecumseh this year.
I am thrilled to be back as a volunteer in the choral department this year! I am honored to be learning the role of Treasurer on the Choral Booster Board with the help of Megan Vredenburgh.
The 2026-2027 school year is going to be awesome! Go Bronchos!
