Jeff McManus

I am a Senior Economist at IDinsight, where I use data to evaluate programs in international development. I oversee the technical design and analysis of randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental evaluations, sample surveys, and process evaluations. I work on topics across sectors but have relatively more experience evaluating education and livelihoods programs. I have lived and worked in India and Zambia, and have also overseen research projects in Liberia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, the Philippines, and elsewhere.

Previously I worked on impact evaluations at the Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT and at Evidence for Policy Design at Harvard. I have a Master’s from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in Economics from Swarthmore College.
