It was noticed by our social workers the children who attended the local schools would not pay much attention to the material taught, as a result when they joined private schools after the 7th std they could not cope with the studies this led to a substantial increase in the number of drop outs. Jeevan Siksha was implemented precisely to counter this trend. We got the parents to send their kids to attend our study classes. Our volunteers and staff went to great lengths to make the curriculum interesting and evolved a proactive atmosphere. Our numbers speak for themselves when we say the rate of drop outs reduced substantially.
