Welcome to our English learning app. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your personal data. 

If you choose to use my service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that Open Talk collects is used for providing and improving the Service. Open Talk  will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Open Talk unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, Open Talk  may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to DeviceID, Contacts, Location. The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Personal Information: Your name, email address, and other contact information you provide.

• User-generated content: information and feedback you provide through our app, such as comments or chat messages.

Facebook Profile Pictures  Integration and Data Deletion

a. Use of Facebook Profile Picture: We offer the functionality for users to import their Facebook profile picture to their Open Talk profile picture. By utilizing this feature, you agree to the following:

• We will request access to your Facebook profile picture through the Facebook API.

• We will only use this information to update your profile picture on Open Talk.

• Your Facebook profile picture remains subject to Facebook's privacy policies and terms of service.

b. Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your data from Open Talk at any time. To delete your account and associated data, follow these steps:

• Go to the Settings section of the app by clicking on the right-top corner button.

• Select the "Delete Account" option.

• Confirm your decision to delete your account.

• Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Please note that while we delete your account and associated data from Open Talk, any data you've shared with us through the Facebook API will remain subject to Facebook's policies and may not be deleted by us. For more information on managing your data on Facebook, please refer to Facebook's privacy policies and settings.

Open Talk Gender Filter Disclaimer:

Open Talk provides a gender filter option to eligible users, which allows them to connect with users of a specific gender. However, Open Talk cannot guarantee the gender of any user, as each user selects their gender during login/Signup and may not accurately represent their true gender. As such, Open Talk is not liable for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction experienced by users who connect with a user of a different gender than expected.

To mitigate this issue, Open Talk has implemented a reporting system in the app where users can report another user for having the wrong gender displayed on their profile. Once a user receives five reports for having the wrong gender, their gender will automatically change. However, Open Talk cannot guarantee the effectiveness of this reporting system, as it relies on user-generated reports.

Please note that the gender filter feature is provided as a convenience and is not intended to discriminate against any gender or promote any gender-based biases

We encourage all users to use the app respectfully and in accordance with our terms and conditions. Open Talk is not liable for any legal action arising from the use of this app.

Log Data

Open Talk  want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app Open Talk  collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Open Talk values your trust in providing us your personal information, so we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and Open Talk  cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. Open Talk  do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case Open Talk  discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, Open Talk  immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that Open Talk  will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Open Talk  may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

Refund policy 

The refund service is not available.
