Welcome to Jeena's Personal Webpage!

Hi, I am Jeena Yun, a Ph. D. candidate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego.
I am interested in understanding earthquake source physics, including the nucleation/arrest process of earthquakes and the dynamic interaction between earthquakes using numerical simulations. I am currently working with Pf. Yuri Fialko and Pf. Alice-Agnes Gabriel on physics behind near-field earthquake triggering.
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where I did my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I worked with Pf. YoungHee Kim at Seoul National University on the seismic attenuation structure in central California.
