(Note: Upon beginning the tryout the host must go over their own ground rules for the tryout like no igniting saber, using PTS, etc. There is a 2 strike system in place during Guardian tryouts. If attendees get a question wrong or behave accordingly or break your rules, they may get struck. Once they reach 2 strikes, they are dismissed. Tryouts are posted in #events. Elite Knight+ can assist with the tryout by answering PTS and making sure the attendees follow the host's rules, but everything else must be done by the host.)

I. Ask the attendees the questionnaire below. An acceptable answer is one with detail, good grammar, good spelling, and one which is not plagiarized. You should have your own standards but don't set it too low.

What qualities do you have that would have a benefit in Guardians? (90 seconds)
Why do you want to be in the Jedi Guardians? (90 seconds)
II. Duels
Duel the host a set number of times, showing skill with the Lightsaber.
Upon passing all of the phases of the Tryout, the participants are to be logged in #rank-logs for their next rank. But beforehand, assure that they are not present in other path divisions (Consulars and Sentinels) before logging them. If they are, instruct them to leave the said groups before logging them.
Striking system
2 strike system, only pertains to tryouts. (Not actual infractions).
Misbehavior will result in a strike
A failed or insufficient response from a question on the Questionnaire will result in a strike.
A failed or insufficient result from Duels will result in a strike.
Strikes carry over from each portion of the tryout.
If a participant receives 2 strikes during the totality of the tryout, the individual is to be failed immediately.
