As a 4th-year BS Tourism student, I’ve learned that passion can come from the most unexpected places. While my course focuses on travel, hospitality, and experiences, I found another form of joy and creativity in baking — especially in making brownies. At first, it was simply a hobby, something to do during my free time to relax and relieve stress from schoolwork. But as I continued, I realized that baking is more than just mixing ingredients; it’s an art that allows me to express myself and share happiness with others.
Baking has taught me patience, precision, and perseverance — the same values I apply in my studies and daily life. It also opened my eyes to the idea that skills and passions don’t have to stay separate from what we study. My love for tourism connects with baking because both involve creating experiences that make people happy.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that success doesn’t only come from following one path. Sometimes, it’s about discovering what makes your heart full and turning it into something meaningful. Baking brownies has become more than just a side hobby for me — it’s a reminder that passion, no matter how small it starts, can grow into something special when done with love and dedication.
