Short bio:
I'm an assistant professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (ICMC) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, and a specialist in data visualization. Before becoming a professor, I was a postdoctoral fellow with ICMC/USP (Data Bases and Images Group, 2022-2024) and previously with the School of Applied Mathematics of Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil (Visual Data Science Lab, 2020-2022). I hold PhD (2020), MSc (2016), and BSc (2012) degrees in Computer Science from the Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil, where I also worked as a professor for almost three years. My research interests include information visualization, visual analytics, network science, and data streams. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary collaborations that aim to optimize data exploration through visualization and visual analytics, e.g., in the legal and clinical medical domains.
