Intro to Digital Film
Jeannie has led six summer sessions of Intro to Digital Film, a week-long course for students in middle school and early high school. These students write, shoot, and edit their own original short films using professional equipment and software.
Advanced Digital Film
Jeannie led Advanced Digital Film, a week-long summer course for high school students with some experience in film. These students used professional equipment to recreate scenes from well-known films, learning on-set roles such as assistant director, director of photography, assistant camera, grip, gaffer, and sound mixer.
Advanced Digital Film - Editing & Special Effects
In summer 2023, Jeannie created a new Advanced Digital Film course that focused on editing in Adobe Premiere and special effects using Adobe After Effects and other softwares.
Screenwriting
Jeannie led courses on Screenwriting, introducing middle and high school students to scriptwriting techniques and guiding them in writing their own original screenplays.

In summer 2024, Jeannie created a new course on Theatre Design, giving high school students an introduction to technical theatre for scenic, costume, lighting, sound, and projection design.
Media Consultant and Artist - Anastasia
Jeannie provided her guidance and creativity to the media team of GACS's 2022 production of Anastasia, which was the recipient of two Shuler Awards.
Camp Assistant - Shakespeare Grow Camp
Jeannie assisted in GACS's week-long summer camp for middle school and high school students, which focused on Shakespeare. Students prepared comedic and dramatic monologues as well as paired scenes from Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Othello, and Hamlet.
Camp Assistant - Method Acting Grow Camp
Jeannie assisted in GACS's method acting summer camp for middle school and high school students. Jeannie led students through exercises and meditations, and at the end of the week, students performed a dramatic monologue of their choosing.
