Currently, I am pursuing a Masters of Arts in Art Education from The Art of Education University. I am also teaching art at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary in Moorhead, Minnesota. Previously, I have taught elementary art and community art classes in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Before this, I completed degrees in Art Education and Music Education with a vocal emphasis at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. While completing my degrees, I worked as a gallery assistant at the college.

I consider myself foremost a painter but I like to create in all types of art forms. I am particularly interested in creating three dimensional paintings and often use vibrant color schemes, repetition, and patterns. A common theme in my work is the connection between humans and nature, connection between people, and connection to the inner self.
