Jean-Pierre Valentini shows a rare intellectual curiosity. He is considered a great collector and holds one of the largest collections of vintage watches from prestigious brands (Rolex and Patek Philippe). Also passionate about contemporary art, he owns several paintings by Pierre Soulages, including the last painting painted in 2018, by the Aveyron artist.
Very fond of furniture from the 1950s, Jean-Pierre is crazy about designers such as Charlotte Pierriand, Jean Prouvé or even Pierre Jeanneret (cousin of the famous Le Corbusier). He particularly appreciates the architectural style of Jean Prouvé which combines traditional and modern ironwork. Jean-Pierre's tastes for architecture are in a way in his image. He is fond of works rooted in tradition and bearing some imprints of modernism. Very curious and attentive to detail, Jean-Pierre Valentini is also a lover of Asian art. For example, he has Netsuke, pens from the prestigious Japanese brand Namiki and buttons from Samurai Kimonos. The Netsuke are real works of art carefully carved in ivory or wood.
When he left for Dubai in 2016, Jean-Pierre Valentini was among the 300 richest personalities in Switzerland. His heritage at that time is valued at 200 million euros. His example is often mentioned in business and management schools. He proved that with rigor and a great love for work, man can climb all the peaks.
Jean-Pierre also remains a great enthusiast of automobile endurance racing. He uses his qualities acquired in trading (the taste for competition and risk, the speed of decision-making or others) during car races. He founded in 2015 with Frédéric Fatien, the Dubai team GPX Racing. This is a professional racing team. GPX Racing has won several trophies, including the Paul Ricard 1000 kilometer challenge or the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Jean-Pierre drives a Porsche 911 GT3.
He is also committed to the fight against global warming. To help neutralize the CO2 responsible for global warming, GPX Racing has decided to finance the planting of 1,000 trees after each race.
Jean-Pierre Valentini was born in Corsica in the city of Corte on February 5, 1964. He was educated like most children. Diligent and conscientious, Jean-Pierre is one of the best students in his class and is a role model for his classmates. He turned to the business world and obtained an MBA.
