I am a Full Professor of Economics, former head of the Department of Economics, and a member of the CRED in the DEFIPP Institute at the University of Namur. I am also a member of THRED (ThReD - Theoretical Research in Development Economics), EUDN (Home Page - EUDN), BREAD (About – BREAD) and CEPR (Home | CEPR).
I work on questions of development and environmental economics, using both applied microeconomic methods as well as a variety of empirical approaches. My current research focus on gender norms, domestic violence, female mortality and household dynamics as well as deforestation in the Himalayas.
Here attached, you will find some notes I use in my Phd class on 'how to do research in development and environmental microeconomics. Feel free to use them (a ppt is available upon request by mail)!
