Jean Won P. Kwak
Dr. Kwak is a NIH-NIBIB K99/R00 funded postdoctoral scholar in the groups of Prof. Tom Soh and Prof. Joseph DeSimone at Stanford University. Featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare & Science (Asia), her current research focuses on advancing biomolecular sensing platforms enabled by 3D printing technologies.
She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, under the supervision of Prof. John Rogers. Her Ph.D. studies focused on developing clinical-grade, soft, miniaturized 3D sensors for wireless skin health monitoring, with an emphasis on pressure sensing, and were recognized with the Baxter Young Investigator Award.
