Dr. Sarang S. Dhote and Mr. Rahul G. Sawarkar come up with a new method for rapid analysis of water sources from different areas. For this analysis, there is one android phone application for quick calculation of various water testing factors like hardness, Ca hardness, & Mg Hardness. On Field Water testing kit was prepared by both faculties by using lab chemicals through this students can estimate hardness, Chloride Ions concentrations also. In this, there is one portable pH meter also there, which can be used to get the pH value of water sources. These kits were distributed to each group of students. Students can calculate, and estimate water parameters by using the kit and android application. As soon as practical performed all the data are mapped on Google Map through the app for the respective area for which water testing was carried out.
