JDEEP APP STUDIO LLP ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Melora mobile application ("Melora" or "the App").
We respect your privacy and are committed to explaining clearly what information Melora uses and how it is handled.
Melora is designed primarily as a music creation, learning, and performance application. Most of its features work directly on your device.
When you use Online Ensemble, Melora uses Firebase services and may process the following information:
An automatically generated anonymous Firebase user identifier.
A temporary participant identifier used to identify your device/participant during an ensemble session.
Participant information used within an ensemble session, such as the participant name, selected instrument, and keyboard range.
Musical performance data transmitted during an ensemble session, such as notes, note timing, instrument selection, volume, and composition/script information when those features are used.
Online ensemble room information, such as a room identifier and room-related session information.
Melora does not require you to create an account using your name, email address, phone number, or social-media account.
Information used by Melora is used to:
Provide and operate Online Ensemble features.
Connect participants within an online music session.
Synchronize musical events and participant settings between ensemble participants.
Provide recording, composition, playback, and learning features.
Maintain the functionality, security, and reliability of the App.
We do not use the information described above to sell personal information to third parties.
Melora can connect nearby devices using Android/Google Nearby Connections technology.
Nearby-device and related network permissions may be required for discovering and connecting participating devices.
These connections are used to provide the Local Ensemble feature. Melora does not use nearby-device connectivity to track your physical location.
Melora uses Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database to provide Online Ensemble functionality.
Firebase may process technical information associated with providing these services, including an anonymous user identifier and network/device information as part of Google's provision and operation of Firebase services.
For more information about Google's handling of information, please refer to Google's privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Online Ensemble information is associated with temporary music-session functionality.
We do not intend Melora to function as a permanent social-profile or personal-information service.
Room and session information may be retained by the underlying service for as long as necessary to provide the feature and maintain the service. Information stored or transmitted through Firebase is subject to Firebase's infrastructure and service policies.
Information created locally by the App, such as compositions or recordings, may remain on your device until you delete it or remove the App, subject to Android's storage and backup mechanisms.
Melora does not sell or rent your personal information.
When you participate in an Online Ensemble session, information necessary for the session—such as your participant information and musical events—may be transmitted to other participants in that session.
Information may also be processed by service providers such as Google Firebase where necessary to provide the App's online functionality.
Melora is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of creating personal profiles or accounts.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
We take reasonable measures to protect information used by Melora and to limit its use to the purposes described in this policy.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may use Melora's core music features without creating a personal account.
You may choose whether to participate in Local Ensemble or Online Ensemble features.
You may stop participating in an ensemble session at any time.
You may also remove locally stored App data through Android's application settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Melora or applicable requirements.
Any updated version will be publishe on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
