Welcome to my class. I have been an educator for 23 years. I received my bachelor's degree in English from The University of Texas at Austin. After taking a year off, I returned to school and received a Master of Arts in Human/Social Services from St. Edward's University. My classroom focus has always been literacy improvement and enrichment. I have been an ELL teacher, Reading Specialist, junior high ELA teacher, high school English teacher, and spent a year working in the Options Program. Helping students graduate and take a positive step in life is very rewarding work. I look forward to a fantastic year at Iowa Colony High School.
