J Custom 3D Prints – Custom 3D Design, Development, and Printing Services – Terms & Disclaimer

All custom 3D design and development work is billed starting at $20. A non-refundable design/development fee may be required before any modeling, testing, or printing begins.

Design and development time includes, but is not limited to: CAD modeling, revisions, tolerance adjustments, test prints, slicing, and material-specific tuning (e.g., PLA, PETG, TPU).

Successful results in one material do not guarantee the same results in another material. Functional parts, job-site use, or specialty materials may require additional design work and testing.

All designs, CAD files, STL files, and other digital assets remain the intellectual property of J Custom 3D Prints unless otherwise agreed upon in writing and paid for in full.

STL files (or other file formats) are not released unless a separate file buyout or ownership transfer has been explicitly agreed to and paid in full.

Unless stated otherwise, any files provided are supplied as-is, with no guarantees of performance, fitment, repeatability across different printers, materials, or third-party systems.

Product & Safety Warnings

• All 3D printed items from J Custom 3D Prints are custom-made/handmade and may exhibit minor variations in color, finish, dimensions, strength, or layer lines due to the nature of additive manufacturing.

• Printed items are not food-safe unless explicitly stated and using certified food-safe materials/filaments (most standard filaments are not suitable for food contact).

• Items may contain small parts that pose a choking hazard for young children. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years old. Not intended as toys unless specifically marked as such.

• 3D printed parts are generally for decorative, display, or light-duty use only. They are not guaranteed for load-bearing, high-stress, mechanical, medical, or safety-critical applications unless additional engineering, testing, and certification are provided (at extra cost).

• Materials may degrade over time when exposed to heat, UV light, moisture, chemicals, or heavy use. No warranties are made regarding durability, heat resistance, UV stability, or longevity.

• Customers are responsible for verifying fit, function, and safety in their intended application. J Custom 3D Prints assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, or consequential issues arising from use (or misuse) of printed items or files.

No Warranties / Limitation of Liability

All services and products are provided "as-is" and "as-available." J Custom 3D Prints disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or reliability.

In no event shall J Custom 3D Prints, its owners, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) arising from the use of services, files, or printed items—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless J Custom 3D Prints from any claims, losses, or liabilities related to the customer's designs, provided files, or use of the products.

Acceptance of Terms

By requesting custom design, printing services, or purchasing any item from J Custom 3D Prints, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. These terms form a binding agreement. No verbal agreements or modifications are valid unless in writing and signed by J Custom 3D Prints.
